The Firm's commercial litigation experience includes areas, such as, construction and real estate, intellectual property, risk & liability, debtor/creditor, general contract disputes, Uniform Commercial Code issues, Landlord/Tenant, and other commercial matters.

Criminal Defense

The Firm represents clients in state court criminal defense matters, including domestic violence, DUI, traffic, narcotic, and other criminal offenses.

Family Law

The Firm provides advice and counsel to its clients in contested and uncontested divorces, guardianship, child custody, and child support matters.

Administrative Law

The Firm represents clients before city, county, state and federal agencies at administrative hearings, trials, appeals and reviews. The Firm has represented clients before the Miami-Dade County, City of Miami, City of Hialeah, City of North Miami Commissions, as well as other State of Florida municipal boards and agencies.

Mediation and Arbitration

The Firm provides counsel in court-ordered or voluntary mediation and alternative dispute resolution matters.

General Corporate

The Firm's corporate practice includes the drafting and preparation of shareholder, employment and consulting agreements, joint venture agreements, licensing agreements, independent contractor agreements, mergers & acquisitions, and dissolution plans. The Firm also drafts and prepares documentation necessary for the creation and organization of various business entities, including, corporations (for-profit and non-profit), limited liability companies, partnerships, and joint ventures. The Firm serves as general counsel to a number a small to mid sized corporations, entrepreneurs, and non-profit organizations.

Entertainment & Arts

The Firm representing various entrepreneurs and companies, both domestic and international, in the music, fashion, visual arts, talent agencies performing arts, radio, publishing, promotions, and special event industries. The Firm also provides client counseling and negotiation of various forms of entertainment and intellectual property agreements, including, but not limited to, recording artist, songwriter, producer, management, tour/artist performance, talent/modeling agency, event sponsorship & merchandising, publishing, licensing, and broadcasting agreements.

Intellectual Property

The Firm has extensive experience with intellectual property matters, including the prosecution, registration and licensing of trademarks and copyrights for matters related to music, visual arts, performing arts, fashion, film, television, radio, publishing, and other multimedia forms.

Immigration

The Firm’s immigration practice provides client counseling and preparation of applications for various visas and petitions, including, visitors (B), international students (F/J), investors (E), employer-sponsors (H1-B, L), entertainment/arts or extraordinary abilities (O,P), and family-sponsored immigration matters.

Estate Planning

The Firm’s estate planning practice includes the preparation of sophisticated wills that address our clients' tax and personal goals. In addition, we advise our clients on how best to minimize gift and estate taxes. This often encompasses the creation of various types of trusts--including insurance trusts, grantor retained annuity trusts, qualified personal residence trusts and credit shelter or dynasty (or generation-skipping) trusts.

The Firm serves as a community advisor to many local Consulates for the Caribbean region in South Florida.

Governmental Affairs

Members of the Firm are uniquely qualified to analyze the decision-making processes of public entities. The Firm keeps its clients abreast of such procedures which may affect their interests. Members of the Firm are experienced in all levels of government practice and have particular expertise in making presentations and giving advice related to government contracting, bid disputes, zoning hearings, administrative procedure, and consular affairs. The Firm maintains productive relationships with various international, U.S. federal, state, and local government officials and respective staff during the representation of client interests.
